Black Pentecostalism and the Azusa Street Revival
An ecstatic, interracial religious movement erupted in Los Angeles in 1906. Led by charismatic Black preacher Rev. William Seymour and known as the Azusa Street Revival, the movement is considered the origin of global Pentecostalism.
